Christmas Cookie Day

I hosted my 3rd Annual Christmas Cookie Day on Saturday. I took over this tradition for my Mom, she used to have all the Grands over to her house each year to bake and decorate Christmas cookies. When she decided to retire her apron I decided to pick it up and I am so glad I did. This is one of my favorite events of the Holiday season. We had so much fun, there is nothing better than time spent with family!

Let's just say more cookies were eaten than taken home.
Merry Christmas from our family to yours!

More Vintage Christmas

People wonder sometimes why I pick up old Christmas decorations that have seen better days, little odds and ends that seem to be broken, dirty, rusty or just plain used up. That's just not what I see when I look at them. I see that they still have some beauty, charm and joy left to give. Lucky for me that most people skip right over these lovlies at the sales. I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder!

Here is some of the Christmas Junk that I have used in my Christmas Decor this year:

Wishing you all a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!
